Nestled between the Western Cordillera mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Cauca enjoys cool breezes and high elevations, creating ideal conditions for exceptional coffee.
Colombia is world-renowned for its washed coffees, and Cauca’s producers carry on that tradition with care. Ripe cherries are handpicked and depulped the same day, followed by a natural open-air fermentation lasting 12–36 hours. The beans are then thoroughly washed and carefully dried—whether on patios, in parabolic or solar dryers, or with mechanical methods—ensuring a clean, bright, and consistent cup.
